Podcasting in the classroom:
Generating asynchronous lecture material for distance learning education provides a flexible option for the classroom.
Students Enjoy Podcasting:
Whether it’s the freedom to listen to lectures at a time of their choosing or the fact they can rewind and play back the lecture as many times as they need, students readily accepted this form of learning in the UF classrooms. Classroom surveys indicated that over 95% of the students used this technology and over 88% thought that podcasting enhanced their learning experience (Foster and Havemann, 2008).
